Sachiko has been studying Chado (the Way of Tea) on and off since the early 1980's. Living in Northern California, she found it difficult to find tea utensils outside of Japan.

One of Tea Circle's goals is to make a full line of tea utensils and supplies easily available to tea practitioners who reside outside Japan.

Tea Circle is commited to helping spread the tea spirit and would like the website to serve as a place to share ideas and knowledge about tea. We are also featuring "local" North American artists who are creating tea ceremony wares.
