I am deducting $________ of war tax from my ___/___/______telephone bill.
I am refusing payment of this federal excise tax because of conscientious objection to its use for military purposes. My conscience won't let me help pay for war when so many people here and abroad lack food, shelter and health care.
I am redirecting this money to the Woody Schwartz War Tax Redirection Fund for distrobution to groups which serve direct and basic needs of our community.
I anticipate that these unpaid taxes will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service as required by the law, and my telephone account will be adjusted with a credit.
